 KITTANNING,
PA, APR. 26, 2005 - Sintermet LLC (www.sintermet.com),
a global manufacturer of Tungsten Carbide, Titanium Carbide, and
Ceramic rolls for bar, rod, and wire rolling in ferrous and nonferrous
rolling mills, as well as rotary knives, announced that it has appointed
Paul C. Fleiner as its new President and COO.
Fleiner comes to Sintermet LLC after having most
recently served as Senior Vice President of ÅKERS National Roll,
where he held several corporate responsibilities in addition to leading
the sales, customer service, and marketing activities for both the
company's National Roll and Vertical Seal facilities. He has over
25 years experience in various areas of the metals industry and is
a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. degree in Mechanical
Engineering.
Prior to joining ÅKERS National Roll, Fleiner
held various corporate positions in sales, marketing, and international
business and development with ASKO, Inc., the former parent company
of Sintermet, Inc.
SinterMet, LLC is a fully owned subsidiary of Hitachi
Metals America, Ltd., headquartered in Purchase, NY.
